Can I change the order of analysis?

Yes, scripts are ordered within the Scripts folder, according to the first three digits.
By changing the numbering you change the order of execution of the analysis.
Warning: Analyses are spreaded between instance "000_i_ ...", database and table level " table-level 000_d_ ...", "000_x_ ..."

Can I exclude analysis?

Yes, simply delete in the folder SCRIPTS the files that are considered unnecessary or not useful for your scenario.
Warning: the release of a new tools update the scripts folder
We suggest you to copy your changes and then overwrite the files downloaded.

Can I add my analysis?

Yes, in the PRODUCT section of the website there is a technical "SSLS Custom Script" which explains in detail how to do it.

Can I modify the report with my logo or otherwise customize the graphical analysis?

Yes, within the Resources folder there are a number of files that are editable:
- The graphic style (style.css)
- Pictures of info / warning / error
- The logo (logo.jpg)

Warning: the release of a new update to the Resources folder of the application will re-downloaded the original files
We suggest you to copy your changes and then overwrite the files downloaded.

Can I schedule the analysis?

Yes, in the PRODUCT section of the website there is a technical "SSLS Batch Mode" which explains in detail how to do it.

Are there issues on privacy and on confidentiality of my data?

Data confidentiality is ensured, the report does not store any user data in the database. However we remember that the report contains the names of applications, server and, for some analysis, of users.

Is there a risk that some parameter of my server get changed?

No. The application suggests any changes / improvements but does not make any changes to any object in the system. In essence, the tool performs the analysis in read only.

Can I analyze even instances of older versions of SQL Server?

Yes, the system is compatible with SQL Server 2005 and later. It's also possible - with limitations - to analyze instances of SQL Server 2000

I wanto to analyze many instances and many databases, how many licenses should I buy?

One only. The license is per user, and it can be used on an unlimited number of servers and databases.
